They told me I'm a grown up But I never left highschool They told me join the chess club Now I'm trapped in the locker room They told me I'm a big fish Now I'm drowning in a cess pool They told me you get one more wish Now I'm living by one less rule Shooting stars keep falling from the sky No one's there to catch but you can try

Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane (Ain't gonna wait for you again) Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane (Ain't gonna wait for you again) No clock tickin' but I hear time pounding Night keeps shrinkin' and the sky is clouding No drugs kickin' in, no sheep counting Light keeps flickering, people shouting It all bounces in my head like a pinball machine Monsters underneath my bed and a pit in between Tryna get away from Fred and forget what I've seen But the floor is soaked in red and the moon shines in green Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane (Ain't gonna wait for you again) Ain't gonna wait for you to get on this plane (Ain't gonna wait for you again)

I hope that you succeed So you prove me wrong once again Been waiting for a reason to quit Go ahead, this might be it Can't wait to see your true colors show It will prove what I fear the most You've been fakin it from the start Your picture's on the wall, should I throw a dart? Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out Who wants a piece of my gentrified culture? Business is booming and I've got infinite resources Might as well put my stock on Wall Street Commodity, art's commodity Might as well put my stock on Wall Street Commodity, art's commodity Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out Who wants a piece of my gentrified culture? Business is booming and I've got infinite resources Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out Imaginary victories Wearing you out Wearing you out

about

"Serlöf’s “sound” is that he has no specific style; the only thing consistent is quality. Reinventing himself again, the “Imaginary Victories” EP is charged with tense and explosive moments that elevate his introspective lyrics. The lead single “They Told Me” brings us into a cold world, which is expanded upon in the Unity-built music video by the game developer Aaron Taecker-Wyss. Exciting, challenging, and innovative, Serlöf enters the hyperpop venn-diagram in the overlap with experimental jazz to give us another brilliant body of work."

Previously Serlöf had a release that would please fans of digital fusion: an OST for a video game that doesn’t exist. It’s called “Purple Juice” ~ deskpopmusic.bandcamp.com/album/purple-juice
